Changes to Resolution No. 1178, adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on July 7, 2023, entered into force on July 11, 2023. State purchasers are now obliged to use the Prozorro Market catalogue for the procurement of certain medicines and medical devices.

What Has Changed

Thus, according to the adopted amendments, healthcare facilities must use the e-catalogue for the procurement of medical goods if their cost is equal to or exceeds UAH 50,000 and the procurement should be carried out by quotation price request.

In the marketplace, medicines from the National List are already available, as well as complex medical equipment. For example, lung ventilators can already be found in the e-catalogue. This ensures the convenience of purchasing these products.

It should be noted that medical procurement started before 11.07.2023 will be completed according to the previous rules.
