JSC "Ukrposhta" has been working in the Prozorro system for four years, and during this time it has managed to carry out 10,780 procurement procedures. According to the general director of the company Igor Smelyansky, it allowed the postal operator to save 1 billion hryvnia on the necessary goods and services purchase.

The biggest savings for the company came from the following procurement items:

- 15.6 million hryvnia was saved on the purchase of 4 thousand personal computers intended for the employees work;
- 8.5 million hryvnia – for the purchase of 2.7 thousand POS terminals;
- 24.3 million hryvnia – for the purchase of electricity.

The Number of Participants in the Ukrposhta Auction

For 4 years, 5,630 entrepreneurs took part in the Ukrposhta auctions, and the average number of procurement participants increased from 2.69 to 3.63. This indicator is higher than the average number of participants in all public procurements of the Prozorro system in 2020 (it is 2.42). Therefore, it is obvious that more and more suppliers are interested in the postal operator procurement. It is known that individual tenders of the company attract up to 20 participants.

Other Ukrposhta Achievements in the Prozorro System

In addition to high participation rates and savings, the state-owned company is considered a pioneer in some types of Prozorro trading:

- Ukrposhta was the first to start purchasing gas for its own needs through the storage facility;
- signed a framework agreement for the purchase of gas, fuel, electricity, insurance services, paper, and briquettes;
- joined the Factoring Hub online platform, which, along with factoring from the SmartTender.biz platform, allows entrepreneurs to receive payments from customers in a shorter period;
- started the selection of suppliers for leasing agreements.

The Ukrposhta results show what excellent results can be achieved if purchases are made in the electronic trading system. The savings of 1 billion hryvnia is a significant amount for the state budget, which, thanks to the existence of the Prozorro system, was managed more efficiently.
