On April 13, information about the new functionality appeared on the website of the State Tax Service of Ukraine. From now on, business representatives have the opportunity to consent to the disclosure of tax information about themselves to a specific person. In this way, companies will be able to check data on counterparties, which will make cooperation more transparent.

Where Can You View Information and Consent to Its Disclosure?

The relevant functionality has been added to the Taxpayer's Electronic Cabinet on the State Tax Service website.

How to Give Consent for the Disclosure of Data to the Counterparty?

If you want to make information available to another company, follow these steps:

1. Open the "Settings" page.

2. At the bottom of the page in the "Consent" section, click the "Add" button.

Also, this setting should appear in a separate section "Consent to the disclosure of information". Select the item "Consent to the disclosure of information to the counterparty".

3. In the opened window, enter the tax number of the counterparty, check the desired type of information, and click the "Save" button.

4. Put your signature to confirm your actions.

A card will appear at the bottom of the page with the name of the counterparty and a list of information open to them. It can be deleted or edited at any time.

How to Get Tax Data About a Counterparty?

To get data about the counterparty that granted you the relevant right, in the "Business partner information" section, select "Business partner information (with consent)" and enter the tax number.

Transparency of tax information enables the company to protect itself from some of the risks associated with cooperation with counterparties. Even before concluding agreements, you can evaluate the effectiveness of a potential partnership, and check the presence of debts, licenses, financial results, and other important information for future joint business.
