The State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine put up for sale 13 new lots – permits for the use of sites with mineral deposits – with a total starting cost of 12.3 million hryvnia. The auction will be the seventh in 2021 and will take place in the Prozorro Sale on April 14.

Among the lots for sale, there are six amber deposits, three sites with underground waters (including drinking water), two sites with limestone deposits, and one site each with granite and titanium ore deposits.

It is the last site that is especially noteworthy – titanium ores are strategic minerals. Such a deposit is being exhibited only for the second time since the open auction at Prozorro.Sale. This is the Selishchansky site in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region, in which geological exploration is proposed, including experimental and industrial development. The authorization is granted to the buyer for five years. You can find out more about the lot here.

As of the end of February 2021, the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources has already put up 86 lots for sale – this is more than in the entire last year. It is expected that in 2021 in Prozorro.Sale will be sold over 100 lots from the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources, which will replenish the state budget by at least 750 million hryvnia.
