In the summer of 2021, in the Prozorro Sale system, directions for renting and selling land plots were launched. Despite the partial suspension due to martial law, in a year and a half, such auctions brought UAH 1 billion to state budgets at various levels, and UAH 630 million of them already during a full-scale war. This confirms that land plots are in high demand among business representatives under any conditions.

Which Lots Were Sold?

According to the data provided by SE "Prozorro.Sale", UAH 767 million came to the budget thanks to the sale of 38,000 hectares of private agricultural plots and state and communal non-agricultural land plots. Another UAH 248 million were received by the organizers at the expense of renting out such plots with a total area of 54,000 hectares. It is communal plots that makeup 86% of all sold lots.

About Completed Auctions

Over the past year and a half, 3,000 land auctions for sale or lease have been successfully completed on Prozorro.Sale. 5,500 participants took part in them. More than a thousand organizers have announced such auctions in the electronic trading system at least once.

On average, more than three participants submitted an offer in each auction, and the final price was more than twice as high as the starting price.

The largest number of land auctions was announced in Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Cherkasy regions.

At the moment, there are 467 more auctions at the stage of concluding agreements, which should bring more than UAH 400 million to the budgets.

What Plots of Land Can Be Rented or Purchased Now?

Currently, you can submit an offer to more than 1,500 land auctions on Prozorro.Sale. These are plots with a total area of more than 34,000 hectares and a total initial cost of UAH 480 million. All of them are available on the SmartTender.biz site.

Here are some interesting properties for sale in the Kyiv region:

1. Mortgage. A plot of land of 13 hectares for residential development, located at the address: Makarivsky (Buchansky) district, Zabuyansk village council. The starting price is UAH 2,362,100. Proposals are accepted until April 5. Read the details here.

We remind you that currently, it is only possible to rent plots of agricultural land that are in state or communal ownership. Their sale has been temporarily banned since the beginning of martial law in Ukraine.
