On November 19, 2022, the Law of Ukraine entered into force, which amended the legislative acts regulating the registration of lease rights to plots of agricultural land. Thanks to this, it was possible to resume online auctions for the lease of such plots and return them to Prozorro.Sale.

Last week, the first tenders for the lease of state-owned agricultural land began to appear in the electronic system.

Which Lots Are Already Available for Viewing?

The following auctions are currently published on Prozorro.Sale:

1. Lease of an agricultural plot of land with an area of 6.5886 hectares for commercial agricultural production at the address: Ternopil region, Ternopil district, Pidgorodnyany village council. The starting rental price is UAH 61,153. Proposals are accepted until December 22. Details here.
2. The right to lease a rural plot of land with an area of 2.6902 hectares at the address: Khmelnytskyi region, Khmelnytskyi district, Zasluchnenske village council. Details here.
3. The right to lease a rural plot of land with an area of 4.4839 hectares at the address: Khmelnytskyi region, Khmelnytskyi district, Zasluchnenske village council. Details here.
4. Land plot for rent with an area of 11.5842 hectares at the address: Kharkiv region, Bogoduhiv city council. Details here.
5. Lease of a land plot with an area of 14.7936 hectares at the address: Kharkiv Region, Bogoduhiv city council. Details here.

Is It Allowed to Hold Auctions for the Sale of Agricultural Land?

The sale of agricultural lands in state and communal ownership is currently prohibited in accordance with the Land Code of Ukraine. But on Prozorro.Sale, you can buy or rent plots for other purposes (auctions are available in the "Land" section).

3. Find lots manually on the Prozorro Sale land auctions page. On it, set the filters you are interested in (for example, Type of trades, CAV classification, Date).
