Small-scale privatization in Ukraine has officially resumed – the State Property Fund has published the first objects for sale in the Prozorro.Sale system – the assets of the Ukrspyrt. Auctions for all three lots will be held according to the updated rules, by the changes approved by the Law No. 7451.

What Objects Were Put Up for Sale?

Within a week, the state plans to privatize the following facilities:

1. Kobylovolotsk place of activity and storage of alcohol of SE "Ukrspyrt" in Ternopil region. The starting price is UAH 25,229,045, offers are accepted until September 18. Read more on the auction page.
2. Maryliv place of activity and storage of alcohol of SE "Ukrspyrt" in Ternopil region. The starting price is UAH 54,324,111, offers are accepted until September 19. Read more on the auction page.
3. Borschiv place of activity and storage of alcohol of SE "Ukrspyrt" in Ternopil region. The starting price is UAH 27,557,112, offers are accepted until September 20. Read more on the auction page.

In total, in September, it is planned to hold 8 auctions for the privatization of alcohol assets, which are already ready, as well as about 150 other objects - from movable and immovable property to non-working factories, which will be put up for auction by the end of 2022. What Changes Occurred in the Privatization Procedure?

Thanks to changes in the legislation, small privatization auctions will take place even faster and more efficiently:

1. Lot preparation will last up to 2 months instead of six months.
2. Payment for the lot will be made before signing the purchase agreement to reduce risks.
3. All permits and licenses will be granted to the new owner of the single property complex automatically.
4. Assets with seized property (on which obligations to creditors will be saved) will appear in Prozorro.Sale.
