Day of Defenders of Ukraine

On October 1, our nation will celebrate the Day of Defenders of Ukraine on a new date, and our SmartTender team pays tribute to the bravest hearts of our country. We thank all our heroes and heroines who bravely and faithfully serve, and we bow our heads to all the soldiers who died for our independence.

Every “today” is possible thanks to our soldiers, who do the incredible every day and whose willpower, perseverance, unwavering faith in the victory of good over evil has amazed the world.

Helping those Who Protect Us

Centuries pass, new challenges come, but the thirst for freedom and the courage with which Ukrainians are ready to defend it remain unchanged. So let's not lose the momentum of support! We must help those who are now defending us from the russian invasion. The more we invest in support, the more lives we can save. Pick-up trucks, tourniquets, drones, medicines and much more can be the key to rescue and successful defence.

Time is of the essence: find trusted charities and join their fundraising campaigns to cover the most urgent needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as soon as possible.

Alternatively, you can join the collection “Eyes of the Partisans”, which is currently being held by the National Resistance Center of Ukraine and the Front-U Foundation, whose ambassador is our team. The goal is to provide partisan units with the necessary technical equipment and purchase Mavic 3T drones, thermal imagers and night vision devices.

There are many foundations – choose the one you trust the most and help in any way you can. Let's unite against the russian enemy, because together we are an invincible force!

About the Interesting Auction

We are also currently preparing to hold an auction at our platform, where the lot is a painting created by the hands of our soldiers, namely 1001 soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, which is why the painting is called “1001 Warriors”. The painting has already been entered in the Ukrainian Book of Records and is one of the unique symbols of this wartime.

The proceeds from the auction will be used to support the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade and to help with the rehabilitation of the wounded soldiers.

Anyone who has the opportunity can join the auction and compete for the right to buy the painting and thus help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. You can find out more details about the conditions of the auction in our news.

The History of the Holiday

The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is a public holiday that has been celebrated annually since 2014 on the day of the Holy Virgin Protection, i.e. October 14. However, due to the reform of the church calendar that took place in 2023, the date of the holiday was moved to October 1.
