On June 19, a memorandum on cooperation and exchange of experience in the use and distribution of mineral resources was signed between the State enterprise Prozorro.Sale and the State Agency for Mineral Resources Management of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan.

What Results Does the State Agency of Azerbaijan Expect

The country will begin reforming the mineral distribution system by introducing an electronic trading system. This system will operate by the legislation of Azerbaijan and will allow to provide licenses for the extraction of mineral resources using auctions.

According to Samir Gurbanov, chairman of the board of the State Agency of Azerbaijan, the main goal of the Agency is to introduce innovations in the country and attract new technologies in the field of development and management in the development of mineral resources. The Agency’s goal is also to establish contacts with Ukrainian colleagues from the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine.

In turn, Alexei Sobolev, director of the State enterprise Prozorro.Sale, noted that soon the service team will begin a series of educational webinars for legal and technical experts of the Agency.
