The Ministry of Justice approved the order of the seized property sale in the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sale.

According to the order, SE "Prozorro.Sale" is appointed the administrator of the electronic trading system (ETS). The organization of electronic auctions (implementation, maintenance, and storage) will continue to be dealt with by SE "SETAM".

According to Aleksey Sobolev, Director of the SE “Prozorro.Sale”, this project will unify the procedure for the sale of seized property with other already available in the system types of auctions, which work for the Deposit Guarantee Fund, Bankruptcy, and Small-Scale Privatization, and will become another important step towards uniting all bidding into a single system.

State Expectations From the Seized Property Market Launch in Prozorro.Sale

According to the information indicated on the website of the Ministry of Economy, the launch of a seized property market of in the ETS will help improve the following points:

- expand the market for seized property, the volume of which at the end of 2019 - beginning of 2020 amounted to UAH 3.2 billion;
- make the procedure for the sale of seized property more transparent and convenient;
- improve the procedure for organizing electronic auctions and fixed price auctions;
- increase the number of interested in acquiring debtors' property potential participants in electronic auctions, and, accordingly, the competition between them;
- provide a convenient return of guarantee fees to participants;
- increase the final value of the seized property based on the results of the auction, which in turn will increase the amount of cash receipts to the state budget;
- settle the procedure, grounds, and consequences of disqualification of auction participants.

When to Expect the Market to Launch?

At the moment, almost everything is ready for the official launch of the seized property market on electronic trading platforms.
