Why Did This Field Appear?

Our society is becoming more and more aware and interested in government processes, so social control over public procurement during martial law is increasing. This makes it clear that the entire process should become even more transparent and reasoned.

Therefore, in order to prevent unreasonable expenditures, a new field “Justification of the reason for procurement” has been added, where procuring entities will be able to provide comprehensive explanations of the expediency of holding certain tenders.

How Does It Work?

The functionality is implemented for all types of procurement, regardless of the starting price specified by the customer or the subject of procurement.

To specify the text of the justification, you need to go to a special field in the annual procurement plan.

Add description

You can also make changes to the justification: edit the text or provide additional information. But pay attention: all updates made will be displayed on the website in the form of a change history.

To find the explanations added by the customer, use the “Justification” button on the plan page.

What to Include in the Description

Since the field is optional, the customer can provide exactly the data they consider necessary for explanation.

However, we recommend that you include the following information

- why it is important to make this procurement now;
- how this procurement is useful for society;
- the purpose for which it is planned to be carried out.

In this way, it will be possible to clearly understand the necessity and feasibility of the procurement.
