The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine sent a letter to the heads of regional state administrations, city, and regional councils, in which it recommended switching to using ProZorro Market for pre-threshold public procurement.

What is ProZorro Market?

ProZorro Market is the first marketplace in the country for government customers that allows convenient, efficient and transparent to make the so-called sub-threshold purchases of goods for the needs of the enterprise. The service was created at the initiative of leading electronic trading platforms and launched at the end of April 2019.

During its existence, the ProZorro Market electronic catalog project has gone beyond the initial pilot status and significantly expanded the range. At the moment, it has already completed 402 procurement (for the entire duration of the project) for UAH 9,262,423.82, most of all in the next categories:

- “Office supplies and different accessories” (30190000-7) – 183 purchases;
- “Oil and distillates” (09130000-9) – 71 purchases;
- “Computer equipment” (30230000-0) – 58 purchases;
- “Machines for data processing (hardware)” (30210000-4) – 38 purchases;
- “Medical materials” (33140000-3) – 25 purchases.

The service is noteworthy in that it allows the state customer to buy goods as simply as in a regular online store.
