In recent years, the Bilhorod-Dniester port did not bring profit to the state, and with the start of a full-scale war in 2022, it was blocked. But it continued work, and currently plays an important role in cargo transportation for both Ukraine and its partners. The object is used for the transshipment of goods in the status of a "dry port" for Danube ports: forest and grain cargoes, mineral fertilizers, iron ore pellets, and metal products.

The transfer of the Bilhorod-Dniester port to private ownership will be an opportunity for the development of infrastructure and the creation of new jobs.

When Will the Auction Take Place?

The auction for the privatization of the Unified Property Complex of SE "Bilhorod-Dniester Sea Trade Port" is scheduled for March 3. The starting sale price is UAH 187,574,239.

The lot includes the following objects:

Buildings (56 units) and various structures of the sea trade port in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi with a total area of 31,324.1 sq.m.
Buildings (48 units) and structures of the recreation center "Prybiy" in Zatoka village with a total area of 1700.2 sq.m.
"Bugaz" porto point, consisting of 10 administrative and domestic buildings, warehouses, and other buildings in Zatoka village with a total area of 2873.7 sq.m. The station has its railway line.

We remind you that in January, the auction for the privatization of the port "Ust-Dunaisk" was held, the winner of which was the participant who offered UAH 201 million, increasing the starting price by 3.35 times.
