The results of the commercial bidding direction work on SmartTender in 2021 were as follows:

1. There were 467,918 trades. Among them are 2,213,092 items.
2. The average number of bids in one commercial tender was 4.7. The category-record holder in terms of the level of competition was "1622000-7 – Steel", where on average 21.2 proposals were submitted for auction.
3. The average savings across all commercial auctions conducted on SmartTender.biz was 30.4%. The largest savings recorded by our team in one purchase of a commercial organizer was 54.6%.

New Commercial Customer Office

The loudest news of 2021 was the launch of a new commercial customer account – Smart Procurement, developed based on the wishes of our customers. The existing functionality was updated, and the new tools and features were added, including:

- automatic selection of the optimal tender categories and the ability to select additional categories to inform about the purchase of more suppliers;
- access to standard YouControl and Opendatabot reports to check counterparties;
- fixing the names of counterparties who viewed the tender or contacted the customer with a question through the platform;
- improved functionality for working with non-price criteria;
- planning a tender for the upcoming date.

The new account allows the company to conduct its purchases in the Smart Procurement environment from the stage of collecting applications and planning to the stage of agreeing with a counterparty.

Plans for 2022

For 2022, SmartTender has no less ambitious plans for the development of the commercial direction. In particular, it is planned to add the following new functionality:

1. Notification constructor. It will allow you to set up any tender notifications (for example, put notifications about a new offer). As soon as a new participant submits their proposal, the customer will receive a notification.
2. A new type of procedure – the Framework Agreement. With it, it will be possible to conduct a tender and select participants qualified by the customer who is ready to indicate their price offer during the period specified by the contract.
3. Agreement module. Today it is possible to generate applications in the system, consolidate them in terms of procurement and create a tender according to the plan. After choosing the winner of the tender, the stage of signing an agreement begins. The contract module will allow you to sign immediately in the system.
4. Tender online committee. Thanks to this functionality, the stage of choosing the winner will be automated in the system. After the completion of the "Acceptance of proposals" stage, the decision on the choice of the winner will be made by a majority vote in the system.

Of course, these are far from all the plans of the SmartTender team. In 2022, many new tools will be implemented for our customers.
