Since the beginning of martial law in the Prozorro.Sale electronic system, more than 5,000 auctions have already been announced for the sale and lease of land. The total starting cost of all lots amounted to UAH 1.441 billion.

How Many Trades Have Been Successfully Completed?

Despite fears of a complete halt in the land sales and lease market, from February 24 to April 28, 1,700 auctions were successfully completed at the ETS, and another 320 are now at the stage of concluding contracts.

According to the results of the auction, the state budget received 96 million hryvnias. The starting price increase averaged 190% and the average competition score was 3.4.

What Land Auctions Were Announced in the System?

According to analytical data, land auctions were announced by 627 organizers, among which several dozen are private owners, the rest are state and municipal institutions.

The total area of land plots was more than 27,000 hectares: 23,800 hectares are offered for lease and are estimated at UAH 110 million, and another 3,400 hectares are being sold at a total price of UAH 1.3 billion.

The leading regions in terms of the total cost of plots published for sale or lease were Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, Transcarpathian and Volyn regions.
