Competitive analysis is an important part of any business strategy. By knowing your competitors, you can understand their strategy, decide where to focus your efforts, and develop your promotion strategy that will help you significantly outperform other suppliers in your industry!
To perform a competitive analysis, use our instructions.
To get to the section of analytics on competitors, log into your account on the SmartTender platform.
Enter the data in the form and click the "To come in" button (Fig. 1).

Please note that the analytics page is available only to registered on the SmartTender platform users. If you don't have an account, you can create one following our simple registration instructions.
Select the "Analytics" section in your account (Fig. 2).

This section primarily displays information about your company. You can select the type of procurement from the drop-down list (Fig. 3).

Competitor analytics are available only in the public procurement section. To open it, select the item "Public procurement" from the drop-down list, and then click the button "Analytics by competitors" that will appear in the upper left corner (Fig. 4).

In the opened window in the appropriate field, enter the name or Unified State Register of enterprises and organizations of Ukraine code of the competing company (Fig. 5).

Select the company that interests you, and click on its name to open the analytics page (Fig. 6).

Please note! The competitor analytics page is available only in Ukrainian.
To find out detailed information about a competitor, check his reality and reliability, click the "Dossier" button in the upper left corner (Fig. 7).

The dossier contains information from the open service Opendatabot that monitors the register of Ukrainian companies (Fig. 8). It displays the following information about the company: full name, address, date of registration, Unified State Register of enterprises and organizations of Ukraine code, director’s name, state of registration, authorized capital, main activity, company owners, history of changes, and links to extracts from the court register.

You can start following changes in information about a chosen company by clicking the "Follow the company" button and choosing a messenger which will be convenient for you to receive notifications from Opendatabot (Fig. 9).

Close the dossier window to return to the analytics page.
The first graph you will see on the page is the dynamics of the company's participation in public procurement over the last year.
You can analyze a competitor using the following filters (Fig. 10):
participant;
purchase budget;
post-auction offer;
period of the auction.

Please provide the necessary data for the most accurate results.
Please note! By default, all shown on the page analytics (except for the graph for the last year) are collected for the current month, and not for the entire time of the competitor's work in the Prozorro system. If you want to change the time frame, click on the box under the inscription "Auction period" and select the required dates (Fig. 11).

The system will display procurement results by the specified parameters.
The analytics page below shows based on the default data pie charts (if you have not changed any of the parameters in the filters) or based on the parameters you specify pie charts.
You can choose the type of display of each chart by the amount or number of trades the company took part. Percentage is indicated in parentheses in the name of each sector of the diagram (Fig. 12).

Let's take a closer look at the meaning of each of the diagrams:
The chart by type of bidding reflects information on participation in procurement by type of procedure (Fig. 12).
The following diagram shows the status of the competitor's proposals at the current moment for the selected period (Fig. 13).

3. The CPV Classification chart reflects participation in procurement, depending on the categories of the ДК 021: 2015 classifier. You can analyze procurement directions your competitor participates most often here (Fig. 14).

4. The following diagram shows the TOP-10 organizers, in whose purchases the competitor took/takes part most often during the selected period (Fig. 15).

5. The Market Share by Winners chart allows you to analyze your competitor's position relative to other competitors (Fig. 16).

All of the above information is also available in the form of a table located at the bottom of the analytics page. It can be downloaded to your device by clicking on the inscription "In Excel" (Fig. 17).
